What we collect

When you book online, text us, or call and we text you back, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, your vehicle, and what you tell us is going on with it. When you visit the site, we may collect standard analytics data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from your IP address) through Google Analytics, which uses cookies.

How we use it

To reply to you, quote and schedule your repair, remind you about maintenance you asked about, ask for a review after a visit, and understand which pages of the site are useful. That is all. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that deliver our texts and emails (Twilio and Resend) and Google Analytics.

Text messages

By submitting the booking form, tapping a Text button, or texting (916) 465-5955, you agree to receive text messages from KC's Auto Work about your request, your appointment, and maintenance reminders you have asked for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets cookies to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your contact details and service history so we can serve your car next time. If you want your information deleted, text or call (916) 465-5955, or email leads@kcsautowork.net, and we will remove it.

California residents

You can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to delete it, and we will never sell it or treat you differently for asking. Use the contact details above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
